ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contracts and Procurement Specialist with a strong focus on Contract Management. The ideal candidate will have a background in legal or finance, with the ability to navigate complex contractual agreements, mitigate risks, and optimize procurement processes. This role involves overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, from initiation to closeout, and requires a keen understanding of legal frameworks and financial implications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Full contract lifecycle—negotiation, ensuring timely execution, tracking, compliance, and renewal of the contract in collaboration with legal, procurement, and business teams
  • Develop and maintain a centralized repository for all contracts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Identify and assess potential risks associated with contracts and procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and business units, to align contract management processes with organizational goals.
  • Serve as a point of contact for external vendors and contractors, maintaining positive relationships.
  • Streamline procurement workflows and implement best practices to enhance overall efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in contract management, procurement or a related field.
  • Familiarity with legal frameworks and financial principles.
  • Experience with contract management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, DocuSign, or CLM tools) and document control platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Smartsheet) is preferred
  • Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with the relevant regulations regarding document keeping and handling.
