ABOUT THE COMPANY:

With a mission to seed intellectual potential for a sustainable future, eiGroup embraces an integrated approach to research, development, and innovations that results in practical change across industry and education. Our organization creates an environment in which business and industrial sectors can share their technological problems, data-information, and resources in search of innovative ideas and solutions to various R&D challenges and opportunities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead the design and development of production-ready NLP and LLM-based algorithms, from data preprocessing to deployment.
    • Drive and own the preprocessing pipeline, including data cleansing, normalization, tokenization, and annotation workflows.
    • Design, test, and iterate on prompt engineering strategies to optimize LLM performance for specific tasks, including few-shot and zero-shot approaches.
    • Implement and optimize retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines to enable context-aware generation and better factual grounding.
    • Build and manage agentic LLM pipelines where models can interact with tools, APIs, and memory (e.g., via LangChain or custom frameworks).
    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to AI engineers: Delegate and review tasks; Conduct code and model reviews; Introduce best practices in ML workflows and documentation.
    • Architect modular and scalable ML codebases to support long-term product evolution.
    • Collaborate with the web development team to integrate ML APIs/services into the broader system architecture.
    • Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks, performance issues, or data quality challenges in collaboration with stakeholders.

      REQUIREMENTS:

      Required Qualifications:

      • 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with at least 2 years in NLP and/or LLM-based systems.
      • Strong expertise in data pre-processing, including regular expressions, data normalization, and pipeline design.
      • Deep understanding of modern LLM architectures (e.g., transformer-based models) and vector-based retrieval (RAG, BM25, etc.).
      • Experience with prompt engineering techniques and tools (e.g., LangChain, Guidance, PromptLayer, etc.).
      • Understanding of agentic frameworks and orchestration of LLM-based agents using tools, search, and memory.
      • Proven experience leading ML projects and mentoring technical team members.
      • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including web/frontend/backend engineering.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field.
      • Familiarity with containerization (Docker), cloud deployment (AWS/GCP/Azure), and RESTful API design.
      • Contribute to shaping the corporate AI strategy and provide input to product management and executive stakeholders.
